Jennifer Platt
Principal
Jennifer Platt is a results-oriented professional with extensive relationships and experience leading in the Washington, DC trade association and government relations communities. After more than 17 years working with trade associations, Jennifer is leveraging her expertise and network to provide targeted support for other member-based organizations.
Currently, Jennifer is serving as a consultant to the Consumer Data Industry Association in the role of Director of Operations / Chief of Staff. In her previous position with the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Ms. Platt supervised policy and advocacy initiatives for a 50,000+ member trade association. She was responsible for managing state and federal government relations, creating and implementing advocacy on finance, tax, insurance, small business, infrastructure, sustainability, and environmental policy issues, utilizing significant internal and external resources. She also directed the ICSC Political Action Committee, led key-contact programs, and ran initiatives to increase visibility and build coalitions.
Prior to her work with ICSC, Jen served as a policy aide on Capitol Hill and ran public affairs campaigns in Santa Barbara, CA. She is an active supporter and committee leader for Greater Alexandria Young Life and has served on the board for the George Washington University Hospital Women's Health Initiative.
